Ellen Bates Joins P.A. Duffy & Company as Trainee Solicitor, Bringing Dedication and Excellence to Legal Practice

P.A. Duffy & Company is delighted to announce the appointment of Ellen Bates as a Trainee Solicitor.

Ellen joined our firm in May 2021, initially as a part-time Legal Executive, while she completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Ulster. During her time with us, Ellen showcased her commitment and passion for the legal field, making her a natural fit for our team.

Ellen’s journey at The University of Ulster culminated in her graduation in July 2023 with First Class Honours in Law LLB. Now, she has embarked on her Solicitor Traineeship with P.A. Duffy & Company through the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.

Currently, Ellen is actively involved in our Private Client department and Alternative Dispute Resolution department, in addition to the Corporate and Commercial Litigation departments. Her keen interest and exceptional academic achievements in Contract Law, Land Law, and Equity and Trusts make her an asset to our firm.

Ellen Bates is more than just a legal professional; she is an approachable and results-driven advocate for her clients. She believes that her primary duty is to enhance the lives of others by handling highly complex legal matters with simplicity, offering clear advice, and striving for the best possible outcomes. Ellen is dedicated to efficiently and effectively representing her clients throughout her legal career.

Outside of her legal pursuits, Ellen is a dedicated equestrian who finds solace and joy in spending time with friends and family. She is also passionate about the great outdoors and exploring new destinations through travel.
